Panning mono source to stereo output (not fold down)
I noticed in one of Jeff's videos that one of his mono monitor sources ("LB") had a "center" pan fader on the top of the strip in the monitor profile. I assume this is to pan the mono channel across the stereo monitor output.
I cannot figure out how to get this slider. I have a mono source and it simply pan laws to output to both L and R on the monitor output. How can I get this panning slider to show up? It would be extremely useful for doing artist mixes. Thanks! Brian |

Re: Panning mono source to stereo output (not fold down)
Greetings,
If the mode is set to Mono for the source input in your monitor you will certainly see a pan slider. The default mode when adding a source is Stereo FYI. Also - make sure your monitor is in SUM mode. Thanks Jeff, the mode was the problem. Note that it needs to be in SUM mode to have a panning slider, not switched. but that did it, thanks!
