MTRX Studio + Lynx Aurora - use Aurora for Atmos outputs?

Hi,
Just got my MTRX Studio/Thunderbolt Native combo configured for Atmos, and have been streaming 7.1.4 mixes off of Apple Music. Very cool!

Question: I have a Lynx Aurora attached to my MTRX Studio via an LT-HD card. Can I use it for the Atmos speaker outputs rather than the internal MTRX Studio outputs?

I have made what I imagine the correct settings are in Virtual Sound Card (32x32), Dante Controller (added 16 additional receiving channels for MTRX), and DADMan, but I don't believe the Aurora shows up as configurable in the latter.

Hoping for a simple "no" or "yes, here's how..." answer. Thanks!

When using the Monitor Profile functionality with MTRX Studio all of the resources - Sources, Outputs, Meters need to be via IO in the device. So, no, you cannot use the Lynx resources within DADman. Pro Tools can use those resources for additional IO, but not ProMon.

you can however buy the dante card for the aurora. Its $700 and then connect to the mtrx.

Since I started this thread back in August, I acquired a new Aurora(n) converter with the Dante card. I have it and my MTRX Studio configured and talking to each other via DADMan; it seems to be working great.

The quote above seems to imply that since connected via Dante, and configurable in DADMan, I should be able to use the Aurora(n) for my 7.1.4 Atmos speaker outputs.

Is this correct? Would be great to get confirmation before going down the rabbit hole.

Does the lynx follow the sample rate of the MTRX when you open sessions? I go back and forth between 44, 48, and 96 frequently, and it would become frustrating to have to manually make that change on the Dante controller all the time.

not sure about that. I will say that clocking via dante has been the simplest its ever been.
