MTRX Studio doesn't show up in Dante
Hello everyone,
I've just upgraded my Hd system to HDX + MTRX version. It is all ok that we are working while with ProTools that we all know. But I just wondering that can we organize the routing of system audio to DADman via DVS. I have watched various videos and done a lot of things like upgrading the firmware of MTRX studipbut could not achieve getting system audio to DADman. Here is my routing; Created virtual sound card via Dante Virtual Sound card, made appropriate patches on DADman. It seems all ok but unfortunately, there is no sound or meter reaction on System audio Source on DADman. Are there any solutions that you have had? Thank you guys. (I've just added some necessary screenshots too) DADman V: 5.4.5. DVS V: 4.1.2 Mac Os : 11.2.3 |

Re: MTRX Studio doesn't show up in Dante
Did you get the Dante controller software and setup your Dante routing?
This was a useful video when I first setup my system: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HMCwwCg6IbE |

Re: MTRX Studio doesn't show up in Dante
Greetings,
Here's another video specific to Dante and MTRX family products that may also help in deploying system audio to MTRX via DVS: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r0x3HMfRY7E From your screenshots - the IP address range of your MTRX (self assigned) and your DVS client are not correct. In order to patch between them you need to be on the same subnet. best, Jeff |

Re: MTRX Studio doesn't show up in Dante
Hello, again guys,
sorry for my late response, was on a vacation. Anyways, the problem is still there, I just fixed some network issues. But still no system audio sound. Adding screenshot again... Any other ideas due to this screenshot? |

Re: MTRX Studio doesn't show up in Dante
I would highly recommend either adding a router / DHCP server for IP Audio or at least assigning static IP's. Self Assigned 169. addressing on the Mac is not ideal.

Re: MTRX Studio doesn't show up in Dante
Stuff like this can be caused by a sample rate mismatch. DVS won’t follow the sample rate of your MTRX, and often HDX cards will default to 192kHz when used for OSX system sound. Perhaps try opening the audio midi settings in OSX, then right click on HDX and confirm the sample rate matches with what DVS is running at.
