DADman 5.7.0.1 Now Available

No need anymore for Automator to pause launching a DADman for 30 sec allowing the computer to finish its startup loading.

Just noticed a bug which doesn't affect audible performance of either DADMan or MTRX St operation.
While the DADman runs in the background (my choice is have it in upper menu bar), hitting "show" will open the DADMan window as it's supposed to do.
However there will be nothing displayed on any meters in any section.
The signal goes through as it should, even the MOM operates correctly.
It's just no visual light representation of the signal in any meter.
Relaunching DADman fixes this issue.
It happens every day after some time during the work and I am not sure what triggers the problem.
Its working correctly from turning machine on from cold or restart.
*My details are in the signature. Latest firmware installed as well as latest DADman.

^^^ I am not having this issue.
System rarely gets turned off (last time was for a macOS update a while back -- otherwise always on.)
What's your displays/colour profile. A few versions ago DADman had metering trouble with wide-gamut displays (I was affected until it was fixed.) I changed to an Apple "standard" colour profile and it fixed it at that time.

Next time you have this issue, try changing the colour profile of the display. Or, if you have more than one monitor, move DADman to a different screen and see if it works there.

I'm squarely in the same boat as BScout. My system is on almost 24x365 and I've never seen a loss of meters. We did have issues (not sure if they are all sorted) with self-assigned IP addressing.

I never had this issue prior updating to 5.7.0.1 and my monitor is a single regular HD Dell 2312HM.

Jeff, I follow your recommendations for separated and manually assigned networks for MTRX, MOM, D-Command, Internet e.t.c.

I just got a MBP3 Pro with Sonoma and I can't get the MTRX to connect to Digilink 1 with the red triangles but the AD is green. PT doesn't see HDX as an option in the hardware section. I updated the firmware to the latest along with the updated DAD app and still no connection.


After updating the firmware it won't use any of the labeling I made within the profiles.

It sounds like your HD Driver may not be loaded for several possible reasons. Here's the master knowledge base that walks through all the possibilities:

I would certainly ensure that you were asked to Allow the driver to load, and you can verify the state of the driver from the Apple Menu > System Information > Software > Extensions > DigiDal. It should be notarized and loaded.
