"external workstation" install required for 2nd workstation?

Since 2016, I've only ever used one workstation with my S6. But now I have a second workstation that I would like to be controlled by it.

I'm installing EUCON on this second system and see an option to install "External Workstation".

Do I need to install this along with the S6 WS software? Or only install "External Workstation" and not the WS software?

Negative. Simply tick the S4 / S6 Workstation line item from the EUCON unified installer and you are good to go.

Just had a curiosity though, when is it appropriate to install the software called external workstation?

Ah, of course. The installer description even says EuControl, not WScontrol. My brain didn't register that.
