S6 and XMON Cue Advice
Hi all,
We've just had a new studio put together which is built around the S6 M10. We're up and running and finding my way around the surface. My question is about the cue system. We have the 2nd set of outs from our I/O (9-16) feeding the Cue ins on the XMON as recommended, we have gone via a normalised patchbay. The XMON Cue outs 1+2 go to our headphone amp (again, via a patch). I've sent a Cue feed on an AUX track in PT and set it to output on 9+10 so i would then expect that to feed the cue in, turn up the cue out on the S6 (Mon B with the 'Cue 1' highlighted) and hear it in the headphones but nothing. Have I missed a step? It's the first time I've used an XMON outside a mixing space so the cue system is new and apart from the hookup diagram I can't find anything else on the cue system. Thanks in advance. |

Re: S6 and XMON Cue Advice
Greetings,
If you take a look at the Control Room section in this document: https://www.dropbox.com/s/r806oj2l9q...n_2.2.pdf?dl=0 you will notice the following: MON A = Engineer Headphones MON B = Studio Loudspeakers MON C = CUE 1 MON D = CUE 2 Feed your DA outs from Pro Tools to the CUE INPUTS DB25, Select Cue 1 as the source to feed on the Monitor Page of the Master Touch Module and you should be good to go.
