How are things working with UAD-1 and TC Powercore

Hey!

I bought the Vst-Rtas raptor some time ago and it is great!

I'm considering adding some Cpu-Card power to by system f.ex. UAD-1 or TC Powercore, but does anybody have any experience with these system.
To me it seems like a good/cheap alternative to the Tdm system.

Im using the uad 1 with a G4 mac and although

I cant put those plugins while the sessions running

it still works

because of this new compatiability I think I will finally look for a digital conole !

does anyone know of any control surface with analogue inserts you can hook out board to ?

I hooked up a yamaha 02r at work to find that after a/d the inserts are useless

but barely use any effects while tracking , so inserts after d/a is what IM looking for . anyone know?
