Never used it but I would think a plugin as such would take away from the naturalness of the vocal. Kinda like taking away that little guitar string noise. Sorry I can't actually help, but did you try readin the PDF for the plugin?

Is it the Waves one?

If it is the latency is something ridiculous like 15,000 samples and when I tried using it i just found it to be a total pain to fluidly work with.

If it's not then I cant help you as I have little interest in de-breathing.

valid point, but a nice implementation is the ability
to control the reduction
(like a gate)
or, even better, dupe the trak w/ d-breath
then reverse the process,
and have complete control over the breaths eq & comp,
even fx!

The best way I've found to control excessive breathy noises is volume automation or using the AS gain plug-in.

It seems a little tedious, but the quicker you start, the quicker you'll finish!! Better get to work!!

see i got the latency figured out because the plugin off sets the vocals a little bit i got that problem fixed. and i read to duplicate the track so you can monitor vocals on one and breath on the other, im just wondering how you actually delete the breaths themselves...

Place the edit cursor in the track and hit the "-"(minus) key to quickly toggle to volume automation.
