Need Laptop Compatibility Advice

Hi...this is Selph, I had some computer questions and looking for some answers or suggestions. Ok, I
just bought a Sony Vaio Laptop....and my specs look like as follows:

MIC Win XP V. 2002 - SP2
Intel Pentium 4 2.8GHz
2.81GHz, 512 MB of RAM


I want to purchase the Mbox to do some HipHop-Beat production, so I started to read up on the
compatibility specs for Mbox and it seems that I pass in all departments, except my Chipset, which is
a SiS SiS648, and I'm not sure what the motherboard is..(if that matters). So, I'm reading on the Digi
website, and it says that Mbox is not compatibile with SiS Chipsets, so does this mean what I think it
means(?)_I can't purchase the Mbox, unless I change my Chipset? Does anyone know if this is a problem,
and if it is, do you know what I should do about it - (maybe what Chipset I should get placed in my
laptop).

Also, I was thinking about getting more RAM, so should I get a new chipset along with more RAM...Can
any1ne help me out...please let me know, it would be much appreciated. Thnks-b,4-Hand
