Yeah, VE Pro will be coming home soon. I also expect to spend several months(while plugins get updated) tracking in 11, rendering VI's and then mixing in 10 with all my current plugins

Quite true.

Here's what SSL sent back to me on March 15: Supporting AAX is being considered but this we cannot confirm whether or when it will be provided.

I have the Waves SSL Collection anyway, which sort of makes Duende redundant. (Again, assuming that Waves gets that AAX version out for Q2 to coincide with the PT 11 release. )

It was just that I had the Duende PCIe card first before I started working with Waves, and then moved to Duende Native when that became available.

Yup. Not even a 32 bit AAX.

My Duende Suite, Play, Melodyne, BFD2, Ozone 4, and all of my Slate plugins... none are yet AAX, and some may never be..

That takes care of a few of them.

Kontakt is AAX and just about every library uses the kontakt engine. Hopefully those libraries will be rolling in soon. Vienna Libraries and VEP is AAX. Slate stated AAX is on the way for Trigger, etc.

Yep!...and I'll still be using REAPER to host my rare and obscure VI's and also keep using Reason via ReWire.

Oh for sure, and that's basically my point.

PT11 was just announced. It's not even shipping yet, and won't be for at least another month. We can all just relax and wait for plugin devs to continue making their announcements.

The EastWest guys also said Play 4 will support AAX whenever that comes out. Which should be HUGE for those of us using it with Pro Tools considering the problems most people were having were strongly related to RTAS limitations.

Otherwise, I'm going to keep poking and prodding my other favourite devs who have been quiet, just to see if we can at least get an official announcement as to whether or not we should be looking for a new set of plugins.

Long live 64 bit Pro Tools!
