Default SansAmp PSA-1 error

Hello-

I'm a bit stumped by the error message I get from SansAmp when launching Pro Tools.

I downloaded the free version of SansAmp PSA-1 from the Avid site, installed it & it worked fine - no issues. I've since done a clean install of XP on my computer, re-installed both ProTools & SansAmp but now when launching PT I get this error message: "Updated TPkd driver & reboot required. Please reboot or re-install the software."

My searches have led to a couple of possible solutions but so far nothing has worked. Any suggestions?

I'm running ProTools LE 7.0/ M-Box 2 on Windows XP .

Thanks,

Pete

Welcome to the forum lpf3. You'll need to update your iLok driver.

Hope that helps.

Shane

Thanks for the welcome Shan- and the advice.

It turned out that the driver update didn't work- I got the same error message. I ended up uninstalling everything- ProTools, Mbox, My ilok key- all of it. I reinstalled SansAmp, then ilok, and last ProTools & for some reason that did work. PT "recognizes" SansAmp now & it all works fine.

I don't fully understand why that worked, but in the end it works. Thanks again for your help.

At least you got it going, which is good to hear.
