I was unaware that this could be an issue... is this known? Any fixes besides adding a firewire express card?

It would make sense, since I am now having DAE loading issues at startup.

I think this thing is going back to Dell this week, and I'm going the Macbook Pro route.. this last week of trying to make it work has taken more than a few years off of my life.
