Default Multichannel Support

A suggestion for Digidesign. Could you please update 6.9 so there is multi-channel support for RTAS?
I was also wondering if any of you guys use DKFH Superior of BFD with the rewire support enabled and if it works for you. I am thinking about buying one of these since I can't get multiple channels using Battery. I don't like using REDRUM because it doesn't use multisamples. The main reason I want to use multi=channels is for more support over my drums and I like to side chain compress my bass to the bass drum.
Any suggestions would be appreciated. Like I said before, I think the best fix for this would be for Digi to code multiple channel support for PTLE.

Default Re: Multichannel Support

It's been done for quite some time now. It's up to the plugin developers to add it to thier plugins now.

I take it you are refering to multi outputs from an RTAS synth or Drum machine etc that is.

Taken from "What's new in LE 6.7" page 9:

Multiple Outputs for Instrument Plug-Ins

Pro Tools 6.7 introduces the capability to route
the output of an instrument plug-in to the main
track outputs and to individual track inputs on
other tracks. This lets you route multiple samples
or synth sounds through separate outputs
for individual processing.

Native Instruments(Battery) have'nt implemented it yet. I would love to see Battery support it.

BFD uses it. BFD is also great with ReWire.
