Default Recording instrument track to audio track

Using Pro Tools 11, when I try to record an instrument track with say Boom on it to an audio track, I set the Out of the instrument track to Bus 1-2. Then I try to set the In of the audio track to Bus 1-2, but it doesn't give me that option. Clicking input on the audio track gives me options of Audio 1-6. Clicking Bus there are no options; nothing shows.

I looked in the MBox Pro settings, saw nothing to change.

Any suggestions?

I went into Setup for I/O, bus tab, hit default. Then the choice for Bus 1/2 appeared on my Instrument tracks Output, and on the Audio tracks Input.

Apparently I have to do that with previously recorded material to fix previously recorded material.

I solved this problem. I unchecked Low Latency Monitoring. The manual under that topic warns about the problem. Thanks for your help.

Wondering if rendering a instrument track like lets say Omnisphere is there any latency issues?? If I send the RMX outputs to an audio track I always ending up with lots of latency.

Hi

There shouldn't be any latency after bounce of any instrument if the settings are done correctly.

Check HW buffer and low latency etc and see what happens. If I bounce with LLM ON I get strange Caca happen.

Best
