Phase invert

Ok, this will sound dumb...
I'm just starting with Pro Tools so I wish to know if there's a way I can invert the phase of an already recorded track. Is there a way?

you can either process the track by going to the audio suite menu selecting the Invert plugin highlighting the region/s that u want to invert the press process.


or....

you can put a RTAS plugin such as a Digi EQ or Compressor (some other plugins contain it also) on the track you want to invert the phase and push the Phase Invert button in the plugin..

if the only reason u have the plugin on the track is to invert the phase and are not using it for anything else, i would first put the plugin on the track and invert the phase to make sure thats what you want to do, then after that I would process the track.

The 'Trim' plugin. Hit the 'phase' button. Thats what it's for.
