no, the only way to have a shortcut for it would be to do it off of screen cordinates which me and shane both have for ourselves, but if you dont have the exact same screen size and resolution it would not work.

As guitardom mentioned above, these type of shortcuts require x/y coordinates and sometimes even image recognition. Since there are a multitude of screen resolutions, it would be difficult to create a "one size fits all" macro action.

If you double click the divider, it will show/hide these quickly.

We could always make resolution-specific macro builds.

I still can't believe that Digidesign INTENTIONALLY ENCRYPTS the delay readout. I mean, wow.

Any programmers out there have any image recognition code they'd like to donate?

AutoHotKey has image recognition...and it's definitely amazing when you give it a try. I used it to create a shortcut key for show/hide grid since Digidesiign took it out of the menus. The only way to activate it now in 8.x is by the UI, which is not a good idea in my opinion. PT is a difficult app to write scripts for compared to other apps.

True. Another solution would be for the scirpt to recognize the resolution of the monitor on it's own. Another late night project.

This can be done with window configurations.

Probably understood for most of us, but Windows Config is a "shortcut" in that you can recall it using a Memory Location.

Default Re: Pro Tools Power User Editing - The Skunk Works Project

Excuse me for being new to this section, but...

I am a new Pro Tools Le 8 user, and am loving it. An artist... songwriter, singer, musician...

I downloaded and ran this Skunk Works script, and I want to use it all of the time.

So far I've only seen the first few shortcut menus descriptions; i.e.;

s + g
s + t

Is there a post or file location where all of the shortcuts are listed please?
Would love to have that.

Thank you for writing this script, what a time saver, and I am posting to the request to Pro Tools to have this script available in the program.

Thank you,
Chuck

Amazing scripts.
Looking at the quick fade in and out keyboard shortcuts on mouse hover, I remembered a Euphonix demo video, where the control surface has dedicated rotary encoders for fade in and out. It struck me as a great feature for post and voiceover work. Can fade in and out be mapped to midi CC controller? Select a region (or hover over a region) and turn one midi knob to fade in another to fade out. It would make my life a bit easier for sure.
