Hey JC

And yes you can use two Zalman CNPS9500 heatsinks with this board.
Have you got both 9500's on the ASUS board?

No, I just have one, but I have some pictures from my install. The screws that hold the heatsink to the rentention bracket are even with the outer edge of the heatsink, so you can screw it down, without having to bring the screw drivers in from an angle.

Do you want me to email you some pics?

Just for fun, inserted an instance of TL Space Convolution reverb on each of 16 tracks in one of my projects for playback. Default preset, which is a hall. About 26% CPU use. 1024 samples at 24/48.

Awesome! But do you really need 16 spaces All Jokes aside, I inserted 32 when I first installed TL space, and I still had room, then I thought, why even go farther. The speed limit is 100 km/h, and I can already do 500 km/h
Whats even funnier is I now want to get the 290's when they are out, and I want 4 gigs of ram. Will this slutty gear lust ever end?

Ummm... the 9500's will fit a Tower Case of sorts, but due to height restrictions for myself, installation of these is simply impossible, but more importantly, none of the other Zalman Heatsinks fit because of Fin diameter dimensions, the heatsinks may fit their respected sockets, but they won't sit side by side.

Are you using a rack mount case? From what I see, they look like they will fit even a 3U rack mount case.

I think Pasanta is using two 9500s in a rack case. If you can use full height PCI cards, then there's plenty of room for the 9500's height wise.

Yeah, Silverstone LC-13 and I don't have a need for full lenght PCI cards.

...and Pasanta's using two 9500's on a ASUS mother board?

I wonder if they're LED or AM2. I know we had trouble with both 7700 and 9500 LED.
7700 because of diameter dimensions and 9500 LED because of height dimensions.

We'll hear from Pasanta shortly.
