This one is simple, clean and fun. The image below shows all of the default transport section soft key functions that can be triggered by simply holding down any
Shift key on a fader module while pressing a transport button.
The only caveat is for
Retrospective MIDI Record, since we changed the shortcut function shortly after it was introduced. So, if you are currently running Pro Tools 2018.4 or 2018.7 and want to play with the correct function, either modify your
Stop button (Shift + Option + Z) or simply load the modified appset below.
