S6 All Plug-in Parameter Latch

Hi all,

I've been trying to suss out using Snapshots in a post-production mixing environment. But have one hurdle...

Is there an easy way to put every parameter on an insert into record enabled Latch mode (i.e as if you have just touched said parameter). We often have several plug ins on a track that we want to store all parameters in a snapshot, as well as the pan, send and volume fader levels etc. However I haven't found a way without having to spill the insert out and touch every parameter.

Touching the Volume fader, pan and send knobs isn't an issue as thats only 3 touches per track. It's touching every automated parameter in channel strip and other plug ins which is a pain!

Hoping you guys can shed some light on this for me!

Try OPTION or SHIFT OPTION plus Capture button. It will grab all params that are write enabled and let you push them into a Snap.

Thanks for this - will have a go. If the track is set to latch and all parameters in each plug in are auto enabled, should this grab all parameters in the capture? Thinking about it I could set the track to write mode when I want to capture all automation, capture it while playing back, then save as a snapshot and flick it back to touch/latch when done. But it does seem like an impractical way to work!

Yes - this will grab all parameters for the Selected (SHIFT OPTION) or All enabled (OPTION) tracks.
