Re: S6 Layouts
Hi Jeff, all we did is update this Mac and S6 to 19.9.Port 2 on the back of the master module is connected to the switch. Port "ethernet 1" on the Mac is also connected to the switch. Port "ethernet 2" on the Mac is connected to the house network. The service order is set so that "ethernet 2" (house network) is first, followed by "ethernet 1" (connection to the S6).
We tries swapping ports and addresses, no difference. Should we try reinstalling the MTM software? Thanks again. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Re: S6 Layouts
Thanks. So you tried using Port 1 on the S6 Master Module? If not, I would highly recommend giving it a go whether using an external router or setting the MTM to enable DHCP server on Port 1. It shouldn’t be absolutely necessary to set your surface NIC to be first in the priority list on the workstation however it would be a useful data point. Network configuration can be accessed from Settings>Surface>Local Options (gear).
Please let me know what you find. Jeff Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |
