EQ : Hi freq on the left, Low freq on the right ?
Hi,
When I focus on a channel which has a Channel Strip inserted, the EQ knobs are positioned in a strange way on the master module : Hi frequencies are on the left and Low frequencies are on the right ! Then, if I change the page by clicking on "sends" or "pan" for example, and go back to EQ menu, everything is ordered correctly. Has anyone this bug too ? Thanks |

Re: EQ : Hi freq on the left, Low freq on the right ?
Greetings,
I'm not sure I've ever seen that exact behavior. What versions or Pro Tools, S6 & OS are you running currently? Thanks. Jeff |

Protools 12.7, S6 3.5, Mac OSX 10.10.5.
That was the case in earlier versions too (Protools 12.x, S6 2.1) |

Re: EQ : Hi freq on the left, Low freq on the right ?
Are your "Function and Knob Page Selected on Attention Change" set to LastSelected (Home Page Local settings [gear]) ?
If not, what are they set to? It is possible to touch the Hi Freq params and then touch the left attention knobs to associate them in that way. If LastSelected was set each subsequent attentioned track would look similar. Do you ever perform this operation? Jeff |

Re: EQ : Hi freq on the left, Low freq on the right ?
I wonder if this has to do with this User pref ?
Reverse Function Pages for 5-Knob Strips This setting lets you configure Knob Module function views to display parameters in either their default order, or “reversed” from their factory mapping. For example, enable Reverse Function Pages for 5-Knob Strips to have EQ plug-in parameters start with low frequency parameters instead of high (or the opposite, depending on the default mapping of that plug-in). |

I just found that when I set it to "EQ" and "1st", it's working ! Many thanks for that ! The problem exists only when "LastSelected" is set. The problem is also not plugin dependent, as I've tried with Avid ChannelStrip and Sonnox EQ. Quote:

Until the bug may be fixed, this workaround is ok for me. Thanks for all creativecontrol and EddieJones !! |
