Save DADman MIDI Settings?

Hi -


Running DADman 5.6.9 on a MacPro (Ventura 13.4.1) with an MTRX. Using the mic pres on the MTRX so using the MIDI settings in DADman (Bus 1 & 2) to do so. When I save the profile and the monitor profile in DADman, everything saves fine except for the MIDI Settings. When DADman reopens the MIDI settings default to none but all of the other settings revert to the saved state. Do not see any other way to save then the two profiles, so at a loss on how to get the MIDI Settings to stick. Any ideas?

These should be saving with the .dms file, which they are indeed doing here. What version of DADman are you running and on what platform?

Running DADman 5.6.9.1 on Mac OS 13.4.1. Everything in the .dms profile saves and loads properly except for the MIDI Settings. Those always default to none.

This works fine for me here on macOS 13.5 as well as macOS 12.6.8. What are you assigning to the Input/Output - and are you auto-launching DADman when the computer boots?

The .dms file only saves the settings of the device, such as sample rate, sync source, mic gain, etc.

The MIDI settings are only used in DADman and will normally be saved automatically in preferences. I suggest you try to trash preferences and see if that helps.

Deleting the DADman preferences worked and now the MIDI settings save properly - thank you!
