Fader Expand Zone Function

Hey All,

Just checking - is it by design that an S6 will only ever display parameters once across its expand fader and expand knob zones? For example, on a 16 fader S6, if the top left knob module is dedicated to a EQ expand zone, the top right to Dynamics expand zone, and faders 1-8 are an expand fader zone set to inserts (all), should the expand fader zone show an EQ-III's parameters if I have assigned them using the ATT+EXP button combo?

The parameters are correctly assigned to expanded faders, as they will appear on faders 9-16 if I hit the appropriate EXP button. More often than not though, the expand fader zone just sits entirely black. What I am witnessing is the vaguest of flashes of EQ-III parameters across the OLEDs of channels 1-8... then nothing. Assigned sends never seem to appear. Though I do have luck with custom mapped plugins that aren't EQs or Dynamics... Stuff like Revibe II or Stratus 3D. Even then, I still routinely have to hide->expand fader zones using the MTM soft keys to get them to appear at all.

A few questions. The behaviors you are observing are always in On Attention (dedicated) expand fader zones, yes? Do local expand faders behave correctly?

What combination of PT and S6 are you running? I feel like we addressed this very issue with a previous revision. Thanks.
