S6 Channel Displays

Small function that has possibly gone missing that I use to use all the time. I used to hold shift and then Display 1 or Display 2 on the Monitor module and the channel displays would all toggle through the display options. Having upgraded to latest S6 firmware and Eucon this doesn’t happen anymore. I can still change each channel individually pressing the Attention button and the Select button. Is there a new preference that I’ve missed. Any help grateful let received. Thanks.

If you've tweaked individual (custom) meter strips the global functions will ignore those. Try holding Shift + Select on a channel or channels then try your global Shift + Display again.

I'm not seeing that behavior here on 23.11.121. What version (PT and S6) are you running? Also - do you have Channel Strip Keys defined to toggle Display Global Meter Layouts and is that functional?

Like Jeff is suggesting it does sound like you have the display types set manually, either by individual track or by the new track type (can be different for audio vs VCA etc.)
In the next release we are adding a hold shift and press and hold Display 1 or 2 to clear all individual settings for this.

There was supposed to be a 2023.12 beta right? is there a 2024.1 beta coming or something that will have this?

Yes there will be a beta coming soon....but please keep beta chats to Center code
