New MTRX Studio Does Not Connect to Network

Hi Jan, I tried both ports and the cables are good. I purchased new cables and tested them on other gear.

Question for other MTRX Studio users, when the unit is on, can you see activity (lights on) through view holes on the top of the unit?

Does it make a strange grinding sound (like a hardware error) when you power it up?

To update ... Obviously the unit had some issues. However, with the help or our retailer, Avid, and Jeff, a new replacement was shipped to Toronto within a week and we're up and running. It's an awesome unit.

One dumb question, the Monitoring section of the Avid Control App is inactive unless DADman is the active application. So, when I switch out of DADman and go to PT or any other app, I lose the monitoring functions in the Avid Control App. How do I keep it from doing that?
