New HD Native Thunderbolt not showing up.. Help!

Hello! Recently upgraded my apogee ensemble thunderbolt and PT to a HD Native Thunderbolt, PT ultimate, and HD omni.

I installed PT ultimate (2020.12), the HD driver (2020.12), and hooked up the HD thunderbolt box to my Mac mini 2018 running 10.15.7 and the HD omni. I have the digilink license on my ilok.

Problem is nothing is showing up. Audio Midi setup does not recognize anything nor does Digitest.

I uninstalled the HD driver and did a reinstall but that didn't help. The HD thunderbolt box is powered, and I tried different ports and cables, but no dice.

Not sure what is going on, or if I am missing something simple as this is my first HD system. Please any help is much appreciated.

Under System Preferences > Security > General did you ever Allow the Avid HD drivers to be loaded?

I wasn’t prompted, and after the driver install computer restart going to the security preference panel doesn’t show it being blocked or allowing me to accept it.

Are you using an Apple TB3 - TB2 adapter to TB2 cable to the HDNTB? Is the red LED lit near the headphone connection? Can you pull TB and reconnect it?

Yes apple TB3 adapter to apple TB2 cable into the HD native box.

Red light is active

I’ve tried different TB ports and cables as well. No changes

Your HD OMNI is piped up via DigiLink and powered on currently yes? If so, it may be worth running that terminal script uninstaller then reinstalling the HD Driver once more.

Yes.

So I again uninstalled the HD driver, deleted the disk image, re-downloaded the HD driver from avid and did an install. Again no prompt to allow via security, but it is now showing up in digitest as well as the Omni!

Trying to set up the Omni now. Is there a way to mirror the main out 1-2 with spidf?

Also my Omni headphone out is only coming out the left side. Any idea on this one?

I believe you can only Mirror digital if you are not using the monitor section. If you have the Monitors assigned to 1-2 I believe it disallows the Control + click mirrored assignment.

Make sure you are not folding to mono for your path.

Hey Jeff, trying to control click the Monitor 1-2 in the hardware setup-main page- output-monitor 1-2 but when I do it’s just activating the drop down menu.

Sorry - it's been a while on that hardware. I updated my post. I don't believe it is possible in this mode.
