From the example discussing advanced control with interleaved EQ and Dynamics Control per band, there is no setup required. Once you accessed Insert Parameters (Teal) and then invoke Expand Mode, you will see 6 pages with 4 bands per page. Conversely, if you access the same view with Pro-Q2 you will see 8 bands per page since there are no Dynamics controls in that version. The seventh page of Pro-Q3 includes global functions including the look and feel of the RTA.
My comments about starting with a Flat-7 preset in the plug-in are specifically regarding formatting 7 of the 24 bands in such way that they conform to the layout of the dedicated EQ (magenta) view on the console. Hope this helps.
