I'l defer to Eddie on some of this -> but in general, Avid has improved EUCON performance in WSControl through optimizations over the last several versions released. S6 19.12 did have some very significant optimizations for the Master Module when Attentioning for example. So although I would still personally recommend purchasing as much RAM as you can afford for your audio workstation, most of the improvements with drawing data, caching and banking performance are due to optimizations that were worked on by the EUCON team.
