Metallica Black preset

i uploaded my first version of the Metallica Black tone a few minutes ago. i decided to take a different approach. i ignored the bands actual settings and just went with what sounded good to me while i was playing along with the cd.

eleven rack preset i am working on. not quite there yet. i think i rolled off too much highs on the preset. i brought some highs back into the mix by adding a BBE effect set minimal at 3 on the guitar tracks.

i got the backing track without guitars off youtube.com

i will try it again while reamping, which should make it sound closer to the real deal.

That's dead on. Been trying to dial that one in for a long time on many different toys and never got half that close.

Not there yet. Either the preset has not been approved yet or it is conflicting with the othe "Metallica Black" preset.

This is the only one that shows up right now. I think that it takes them a while to accept them and update the links.

Comments: This is set up so that you have the regular sound to play live or lay multiple rhythm tracks (default) and when you turn on the reverb, it becomes the room mic'd amp sound used in the studio on the Metallica Black album.

Reverb defaults to off but it is there if you want to add some roominess by turning it on and recording another track.
