Where did my sound go?

Ok so when i'm in protools...my sound works fine.

When I use iTunes...the sound comes right out of my monitors that are connected to my digi002...

at one point in time...if I wasn't using protools...but was on the internet and was on myspace and wanted to listen to a band...the sound came through the digi into my monitors...

now it won't.

what did i do?

Go to System Prefs/Sound and select the 002 as the default sound output.

Been there, done that. Still nothing when I'm trying to listen to songs or any other sounds via internet.

iTunes outputs through the Digi just fine.

ok so i solved the problem.

for whatever reason - i never figured out how to make digi core audio output sound from firefox...but what i did figure out is this:

the digi002 has a alternate source input on the back of it that has an RCA connection. So i simply set the output for the computer to the headphone jack and ran a 1/8" cable from that into the RCA on the back...click the ALT SRC TO MON button on the digi and viola! all sounds (even the computer beeps) come out my monitors...and my internet media works again!
