Midi delay after Audiosuite Pitch change

Every time I use Audiosuite Pitch change and return to editing, the midi plays back with major time delay. Only after closing and re-opening the session does it come good. Using Pro-Tools HD OSX 10.2.3, Pro-tools version 6.2.3.
it's a real problem thaqt won't go away.
