PitchShift question

Has anyone had problems with the Digi Pitchshift tool. I get real bad artifacting and some "flutter" when processing bass and other low end sources..
I have tried to tweak the settings and nothing seems to get rid of it. The strange thing is the realtime Preview sound fine!

The plug-in won't do "time correction" when you preview the sound. So you must disable the "time correction" check-box to get the preview and the processed file to sound the same.

Digi's pitchifter is quite good on some stuff but it seems to have problems especially with low frequency stuff. The flutter thing that you are hearing is an artifact from the plug. Pitch'n Time usually does a better work but it's not perfect. I've found that Steingbergs Timebandit has worked best for me when pitchshifting bassy sounds.
