@tfkness,

So far it's working on my Harpertown. I have played the demo file and loaded an old project. CPU use is reasonable, but of course I'm missing all my 3rd party plugins. I like the new System Usage meters.

Don't cheer too soon....

I'm having issue with 003 console and switching between 10.3.6 and 11...
http://duc.avid.com/showthread.php?t=340451

11 works great, 10.3.6 doesn't seem to work with the new 003 driver (audio works so rack users should be ok but the console controls are all dead). I've managed to get a 'working' set up by reinstalling 10.3.3 drivers and a fair bit of fiddling about every time I swap versions. Looking forward to a fix

Working well here on BOTH 10 and 11. (Win 7) Just make sure you have the right driver. The console driver is NOT interchangable with the rack driver.

My home surround rig is built around an 003. I'm late to the game switching to PT11HD. And guess what... the new 003 driver MIXES audio from Core Audio with Pro Tools. FABULOUS! No more routing the Mac output with a cable back into Pro Tools.

Thank you Avid.

Well, I've just fired up a brand new HP ZBook 15 laptop (Win7), a cheap Startech Firewire Expresscard, my shiny new PT 11, and my trusty 002r. I installed the latest 003 driver from the Avid site. Good to go. No install problems. Everything basically works.
I say basically because there is some sort of strange latency on record which sounds a bit phasey and in both ears, but as soon as I hit "low latency recording", it's all fine.
I've used a Lynx Aurora converter via lightpipe and external pre's for years. All working except for that recording issue whether I use the external conversion or the internal mic pre's.

Hope you all have as much luck as I just did. Astoundingly pleasant surprise.

Darryl
