Here is the update for Trasher. now has a gui, menu and more options.

for Pro Tools 8.04-9 on W7 32 and 64

also tested and works on Pro Tools HD 9

will delete your DAE/Pro Tools preferences, App data, databases, air databases.

backup and restore DAE\Pro Tools preferences.

open plugin folders, log files.

just place the TRASHER 2.0 folder in your Documents folder of each partition you plan to run it on. you may move the .exe anywhere you decide on the partition or pin to the start menu or taskbar.

does not support vista,xp or Pro Tools 8.03 or below.

Congratulations Steve. Trasher version 2.0 finally delivers a practical Preferences backup and restore solution for Pro Tools Windows 7 users. Pro Tools 10 includes different directories, so currently no Trasher does not work with Pro Tools 10 but I heard soon.

it is in progress, but ran into some snags i am trying to work out.

Downloaded it and my anti virus software wouldn't let me touch it. Quarantined it with this message;

temporarily shut off your real time protection and download and extract it. delete the .zip file and you should be fine.

Filosofim, I found guidance below in one of your posts and it seemed to do the trick. Thanks to you too.

Database (Volumes): C:\Program Files (x86)\Avid\Pro Tools\Databases\Unicode\Volumes

DAE Preferences: C:\Program Files (x86)\Avid\Pro Tools\DAE\DAE Prefs

Pro Tools Preferences: C:\Users\Users Name\AppData\Roaming\Avid\Pro Tools

Empty Trash then restart.
