plugins disappeared

i just got the upgrade from PT 9 MP to PT 11, but now most of my plugins are lost.. i use a Mac OS X (i think 64 bit).. my lost plugins happen to be the ones i use most (native-instruments Kontact, Reaktor, Battery 4, and Guitar Rig 5).. im not super tech-savvy so i'm a little lost.. what can i do to get PT 11 to recognize my old plugins??

Pro tools 11 only uses AAX/64 plugins, which if you haven't noticed, are not all available yet. You can check the manufacturers websites to confirm the availability of any updates working with 11 as some may be available now. Fortunately the license for 11 is bundled with 10, which will still work with RTAS and AAX /32 plugins. So it's advised you install 10 and 11 if you need those plugins. Make sure you install 10.3.6 as this is the version that will co-install with 11.
