Sony EQ vs Waves Linear EQ in mix

I've almost come up with a personal rule that if something needs colour or warmth, go for the Oxford. If something is already very coloured and just needs ridiculously clean EQ without any attitude, the Lin EQ is the gun.

At the moment I do not have the Oxford/GML EQ on my HD Rig, but I compared the Waves Lin EQ to the MassenburgEQ on my TC 6000 and came to the same results. I guess that the Oxford/GML in PTools should sound very similar to the GML in the TC System 6000, so I probably order soon. I would like to wait for the GML EQ for PT HD, but I have a major mixing project starting in 3 days, and since George is not going to make it soon with his EQ I go for the Oxford with the GML Option:-(
