How do I use the Pitch Shift Plug-in
Sorry for being a rookie on this one, but I have a piano track that just sounds slightly out of tune with the rest of the band. It sounded ok while recording, but now that I am mixing the final tracks, the whole track just sounds slightly askew. Can I use the Pitch Shifter plug-in to just "slightly" sharpen the complete piano track? If so, anybody have instructions or a technique they would be willing to share? Or, are there documents available about this particular tool? If not, any other ideas on how I might shift the pitch ever so slightly?
Very much appreciated, tc |

Re: How do I use the Pitch Shift Plug-in
Since it's an audio suite plugin it will draw a new wave file, but highlight the whole track, open "pitch shift" and use the "fine" slider to raise the pitch..it'll do it in insanely small increments. MAKE SURE to leave "TIME CORRECTION" checked. You can audition it with "preview" but you'll only hear it play that particular track. If you run the operation and it's not right you can undo it, change the value, and do it again.
