Issue with latest Ozone update and Pro Tools

Hi

There seems to be an issue with the latest Ozone update (9.9) and Pro Tools on my system at least. Every time I open a session with an Ozone plugin it either fails to load or if it does load then closing the session and reopening it fails to load a second time without a full Pro Tools restart.

I have tried removing Ozone from the Pro Tools plugin folder and the sessions load OK.

Izotope changed the Manufacturer name from Izotope, Inc. to Izotope which may account for the issue. Their other plugins are still under Izotope, Inc. but Ozone comes up under Izotope.

I have lodged a support case with Izotope and will update the thread when they get back to me.

Had the same happen to me. Was having issues with 2021.10 and Big Sur. Went to upgrade Ozone And PT would not load crashed on Ozone. Removed from plug-in folder, uninstalled PT’s and trashed preferences. Reinstalled PT 2021.10. Dropped all Ozone back into plug-in folder. All working properly.

I'm using Ozone 9 as well. I am on a brand new Mac Mini M1 and HD Native. I literally installed everything on here within the last week.

I'm not having this issue. Just wanted to put it out there.

I'm having the same issue. Running Pro Tools 2021.10 on a Macbook Pro 12.0.1, oZone, CabZilla, Helix Native and a few other plugins are causing Pro Tools to close with no warning. I've watched the system log for errors or reports and there's nothing.

What version MacOS are you running?

Windows 10, Pro Tools 2021.7. I'm having the same problem. Uninstalled Ozone 9.9 and file no longer freezes while loading the Master track, but now what can I do? Wish there was a way I could go back to Ozone 9.1.0.

As I'm waiting on day 3 to hear from Izotope, I can't wait any longer. I've moved ahead with Ozone 8. My enthusiasm for the company has dropped a few notches.

I tried trashing preferences but this did not fix the issue. Izotope did get back to me and provided a link to roll back to Ozone 9.1. Uninstalled 9.9, reinstalled 9.1 and all is back up and working.

No problem with crashes with the latest Ozone 9 and PT 2021.6 on OSX 10.13.6 They have changed the way the Mastering Assistant goes through it's work - I no longer get the 'waiting for audio' message when I start the MA. But it works okay.
