Pro Tools hangs on adding insert
Every time I add any insert (DSP or Native) my entire system hangs for a second while the plugin loads. It's a rental Pro Tools 10 HD system, so you'd think the processing power to load the plugin would be available. I don't remember this being so much of an issue on my home system.
Is it something to do with the audio buffer? Any way to avoid this? I searched around and couldn't find anything. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What does it being a rental system have to do with anything?
 Maybe its under-powered. Maybe some plugins need updating. Tough to know with zero information on the system
