Hello friends,

I am using my HDs in the position of 90º in relation to the normal position.
Exists some compromise in performance or useful life of the HD, using in this inclination?

This rule also is applied in the CD-RW recorder?

Hi,
In general, no, there is no problem changing the orientation of the drive. In the old days there was on some drives, but not now.

Hard drive, no problem.

I've had some problem with CDs getting stuck instide the drive sometimes if it is not horizontal.

And what about the rest of the computer parts, like processor, fans, motherboard? It would be great for me to put my computer case in an horizontal(don't know if this word exists) position.
