F Hole on Tele?
Does anyone know whether the semi hollow body Tele with Humbuckers would sound much different than me adding a single coil size humbucker to my solid body tele? I am going for the Tab Benoit sound.

F Hole on Tele?
I play a G&L ASAT Classic (2009)with a P90 that I put in the guitar myself and it really does nice things for the guitars tone spectrum
I also have a 4 way switch which really adds tonal variety I don’t think the F Hole will change it so much as add levity to live amplified playing. (That and I ripped off that Ash Tray Bridge, can’t stand those things )

Re: F Hole on Tele?
A lot will depend on the layup of each Tele. What's the body wood in each? Neck make up? Fretboard? A small humbucker will never sound the same as one of those wide-range humbuckers in that Thinline even if you could match pickup characteristics.
