File Compatibility:
This may be a silly question but is the Protools LE 6.1 file format reverse compatible with Protools LE 5.3.3? For instance if I have two computers one with protocols 6.1 and one with 5.3.3, can I take a file from the 6.1 computer and use it on the 5.3.3? I have not had a chance to try out the 6.1 version on my system yet and I cant afford to upgrade both computers right now. :-/ Thanks in advance!

When you "save session copy in" on the 6.11 system, you'll be given an option to have it 5.xx or even earlier compatible. Try... hope this helps, cheers,

Pro Tools 6.x and 5.1 and later are completely interchangable.
