How to upgrade PT10 to PT12

Hello forum,

I'm quite new here so sorry for the silly question. But I have PT10 and was thinking to upgrade to PT 12 how could I do that the easiest way?
I see only a option for a yearly subscription (correct me if im wrong). But I have PT10 and want to buy PT12 for one time and done.

If I would upgrade with this yearly sibscription how does it works in correspondence with my PT10 licence on my Ilok?

When I stop paying next year for example PT10 would still work but i dont have the features from PT12 anymore.

Does PT12 also have a complete production tool kit?

That was really some good information but after reading some more even when reading the features from PT12, im thinking is it really benefitial to do this upgrade?

Id like to know if PT12 is really much better as PT10? Does this cloud add a lot of extra? Or are there more great new features in PT12.
What is the opinion of others?

the cloud hasn't quite rolled in yet

braking the 4GB RAM cap of 32 bit to the Tarabites of RAM that 64 bit can access is a big thing

As Craig said, the jump from 32 to 64 bit is major. Offline bounce is another upgrade.

Thanks for the prompt responses but meanwhile I was investigating some more stuff about it but I own a FastTrack Ultra Pro 8r here on the forum and at the AVID site no one states it my interface is compatible with PT12.
Although I would like to buy a new interface thats not possible yet so it would be better to wait for me with upgrading i guess.

When i buy a new interface i could do the upgrade
