Pro Tools 2022.5 - AvidAudioServerLauncher
Hello everyone,
I was very happy with PT 2018 using the AvidAudioServerLauncher (little app equivalent to Hardware Setup within Pro Tools) to change my Monitor Format to adapt to different needs (7.1, Stereo…) and DAW's. Suddenly, with the new version of PT (2022.5), both instances (standalone and intra-PT) doesn't seem to work well together: the standalone version doesn't allow anymore to choose other output formats than Stereo or Mono, having to: - Launch Pro Tools - Change the Playback engine from Dolby Atmos Bridge to HD Native - Quit Pro Tools - Launch Pro Tools again - Change the Output format in Hardware Setup - Change the Playback engine from HD Native to Dolby Atmos Bridge - Quit Pro Tools again No need to say how a pain in the … this is and how much wasted time this creates every day. Any idea on how to avoid this? Please Avid fix this bug! |

Re: Pro Tools 2022.5 - AvidAudioServerLauncher
It seems to be a bit buggy. I noticed that as well and there were question marks in a few of the boxes. I uninstalled/reinstalled everything and the issue is gone (fingers crossed).
