Moving markers with audio selection
Is this not possible? I've been able to cut and paste the markers to a new location, but the audio does not follow?
I get a message saying "operation is not currently supported for conductor rulers" Use cut copy paste clear. This does not work either, and what exactly is "clear"? I even tried the Dynamic Transport to see what would happen, and nada.. PT 7.4cs5, OS 10.4.11

Re: Moving markers with audio selection
I think maybe you're not including everything in your selection to copy over, as I have no problems achieving this. I can highlight a portion of an audio region and "shift + click" my marker bar to include my markers, then I copy the selection and jump to another bar and paste everything. Audio and markers are both pasted. Whatever you want to be copied needs to be highlighted, including the audio.

Re: Moving markers with audio selection
I'm getting one or the other. If I paste in the marker ruler, the markers paste. If I paste in the edit window, the audio pastes.
I can not get both at the same time. I select all the audio regions, then shift + click the markers ruler, then copy. Can't imagine why this isn't working, is there some preference not turned on? I've tried it in Grid, Slip and Shuffle mode.

Just tried it. So you you have to click once in the playlist area, then shift click the marker ruler, copy, then click in the paste point in the playlist, shift+click the marker ruler, and then paste, and it works???? WOW So there's no way to select audio, shift+click the marker ruler and drag to a new location? If I try this, I get the message that the "operation is not currently supported for conductor rulers" PITA!!
