thanks for the reply, unfortunately until finances improve somewhat, I must stick with Mojave,

- as my mainly my interface, plus some other stuff I still use is not supported beyond that OS

Factory Fresh does not equal to Clean Install. Even if you think that it is a clean install out of factory (store) it is not. Wipe the storage, install the OS by yourself, and then only install what you need. That is the way to go.

Hi JFtreak, regarding 'Install Types'
In my OP, I mistakenly mentioned I performed a Factory Install, so in that case, what I meant to say it was that ; a FRESH Install,
meaning ..,
- that I had 100% deleted / formatted my Main OS drive,
- then logged online to apple to reinstall the NEW OS from their servers (ie; the black page with the white spinning planet).

Alrighty. Clean Install is what you want, and then you know OS will not be a factor when you suspect a bug
