downgrade from 8.0.1 to 7.4

I just purchased the PT8 upgrade from 7.1. I've also recently purchased Toontrack Superior Drummer 2.2.1 and I'm having all kinds of issues with PT crashing with C++ runtime errors when using SD. I'm hoping 7.4 will work better with it. Is it possible to gain access to the 7.4 upgrade since I paid for 8? I know in the store it's 2 different purchases but I'd think I wouldn't be a problem getting a lower version after purchasing the newer one.

Good luck with that one. Maybe you could trade with someone who has 7.4 and would like to upgrade to V8, but for some reason it just doesn't sound legitimate.

If it doesn't work on 8, there's a good chance you will have just as many issues with 7.4. This from a basis of a lot of us going from stable 7.4 systems to stable 8.0 systems.
Maybe post a sandra report?
