PTools 2021.12 HD Driver Problem

I just had to uninstall the new HD Driver and install the 2021.10 HD Driver for my HDX system to recognize my card and I/O. I'm using Ptools 20212.12 with 2021.10 HD Driver and it's working. I'm on a Mac Pro 2019 24 core running 11.6

Having the same problem, since 2021.12 installation, HDX is not seen anymore by the system. Uninstalling 2021.12 HDX driver and installing 2021.10 or 2021.7 is not doing the trick for me!! PLEASE HELP!

I had the same problem on our HDX-2 system. Wouldn't install earlier versions either. What I did do multiple times was run the un-installer for 12 multiple times. Odd thing is the first few times it didn't make me restart the Mac. The 4th time around it did, then I ran the un-installer again and another restart. After the last restart, I ran the installer and it took.

Makes no sense at all, even on our HD Native systems!! Two of them installed the driver the first time and another system wouldn't install it at all. Even going back to 10 or even 7 on that system wouldn't work after we tried 12, so we decided to just run v12 software using Core Audio to our Focusrite Red interface in that room... problem solved!!

Are you using it for any 5.1 mixes with 250+ voices and tons of plugs?

same here. on Dec 08, 2021 - I installed 2021.12 PT and then 2021.12 HD driver - tried 3 times on my big sur system. called tech support. they walked me through a long process to uninstall 2021.12 HD driver (restart in recovery mode, terminal, etc.) took about 1.5 hours and finally 2021.10 HD driver reinstalled and all was ok (still running PT 2021.12 though). they told me to NOT install 2021.12 HD driver again until a fix was posted.

Runing tests on M1Max MacBookPro Mac OS 12.0.1 with PT2021.12 (not supported yet) and the 2021.12 HD driver is definitely causing issues... I had first installed it, ignoring the recommendations of going into recovery mode and that was a very bad idea (computer constantly jumping out of applications while you were typing). But even after doing everything right something is fishy...
I uninstalled it, but I still see weird behaviour. Trying to clipgain a quad-track audio file sends PT into spinning ball. I was running PT2021.10 (without installing the HD driver) quite stable.

Again non-supported configuration, but this is me testing outside studio envrionment...more testing needed...
