Exporting Audio sometimes doesn't work

I am talking about the command shift k shortcut. Sometimes it just doesn't do anything and I seem not to be able to figure out why. Does anybody experience something similar ?

It's for clips, not for audio in a track per se. There are circumstances under which a timeline selection doesn't select anything in the Clips List, such as selecting only a portion of one or more clips. If you make the selection directly in the Clips List, it should work. Note that clip groups can't be exported as audio, only clips.

If you’re selecting a clip in the timeline that is not a whole clip but not showing in the clip list on the right column, it will not export. Also, if you’re not showing auto created clips in the clips list, if you select an edited clip and try to export using cmd + shift + k it will not export.

In the drop down menu in the clips list select SHOW->AUTO-CREATED.

CMD+SHIFT+D will also display all clips in the clips list if you’ve done a recent FIND.

Also, Talisker is one of my favorite single-malts at the moment. It's gotten spectacularly good in recently released editions.

If you've accidentally or deliberately done a "find" recently you may see that not all clips are showing in the clip bin - even if you're selecting a clip in the timeline, if it's not displaying in the clip bin shift-cmd-k won't do anything. Clear your find (shift-cmd-d) and also be sure automatically created clips are shown.
