Just updated tp PT 2022.7 and now PT does not recognise my iLok licence - please help
I am on an iMac and have PT ultimate with a perpetual licence.
Well, today I thought just do a little maintenance and update to PT 2022.7. Did it and now PT can not find my licence an my iLok any longer. Great! This what I get: next windows shows my iLok Licence Account Login (which is correct) but when I click on "Next" I get this: Licence on my iLok looks fine: Please help me! |

Do you have a currently active Software Updates + Support Plan?

If you look in iLok License Manager at the Bundle that encloses your Ultimate license (not the specific license itself), in ’Details’ is there a Release Limit listed (right at the bottom, underneath Allocated Seats?

Instead of using Avid Link, try a “Manual” activation:
In your Avid Master Account, 2nd-last box on the LHS is called Linked iLok Account (Linked iLok.com accounts allow you to easily deposit activation licenses after purchasing new Pro Tools products and AAX plugins) If you haven’t already, enter your iLok User ID and “Link” it Make sure you’re running the latest version of iLok License Manager: https://www.ilok.com/#!license-manager There’ll be a “Surrender your original 2016 license” process to be done first, in order to obtain your 2022.7 license. With your iLok plugged in, sign in and click on the “All Licenses” tab up top. Right-click on your 2016 license and select “Deactivate” – this removes it from your iLok and returns it to your iLok account for the “Surrender”. Then click on the “Available” tab up top. If your Pro Tools 2022.7 license is there, drag it to your iLok and follow the prompts - wait until the spinning beachball stops – it takes a short time for the process to complete. Right-click on your iLok in the left-hand column of iLok License Manager and select “Synchronize”. Again, this takes a short time. Restart computer. Launch Pro Tools. If the above fails, download and install the free 30-day Trial until your Case is sorted: https://my.avid.com/get/pro-tools-tr...TIxNi4yMi4wLjA. If your license still isn’t available, you need to “Create a Case” by going to “My Support” - the top RH box in your Avid Master Account – and click on “Access the Support Center (Portal)” – click on “Create New Case”. After answering some questions, you’ll be given a “Case Number”. Post your “Case Number” in this Thread, so Moderators or Higher can fast-track your case. Good luck!

A. How long has it been since you updated?
B. Did you download 2022.7 from your Avid account under My Products? C. Can you post a picture of your Pro Tools Support Plan status in you Avid Account? |
